Abstract
Objective:The purpose of this study was to evaluate left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony(LVMD) by real-time three-dimensional echocardiography(RT3DE).Methods:The results of regional volume curves of RT3DE in thirty patients with DCM were analyzed.Results:Of the thirty patients,twenty-six had the presence of LVMD by RT3DE,including nineteen of twenty-one patient with prolonged QRS duration and seven of nine patient with normal QRS duration.Two patient with prolonged QRS duration and two patient with normal QRS duration were found no LVMD by RT3DE.Conclusion:RT3DE is a feasible method to quantify left ventricular dyssynchrony.
