Abstract
In order to find out the status of available K contents in tobacco- growing soils in Shaoyang, using classical statistics and geostatistical methods, this paper analyzed the distribution of available K contents in different county,pH group, organic matter group and spatial distribution after measuring 1 790 soil samples. The results were as follows:( 1) The available K contents in Shaoyang tobacco- growing soil was low on the whole, with a mean of 113. 75 mg / kg and variation coefficient of 50. 40%,and only 12. 01% or so of the soil samples had available K contents for tobacco cultivation.( 2) The available K contents of tobacco- growing soils in Xinning county and Shaoyang county were extremely significant more than that of Longhui county.( 3) Kriging interpolation map indicated that the spatial distribution of available K was patchiness, and the available K contents of most of the tobacco- growing areas was 100. 00 ~ 130. 00 mg / kg.( 4) There was no- significant difference of available K content in tobacco- growing soils among different pH group.( 5) The available K contents increased with the rise of the organic matter content when the organic matter content in soil was less than 35 g / kg,while decreased with the rise of organic matter content of when the organic matter content in soil was more than 35 g / kg.
