Effect of Flurbiprofen Axetil on Analgesic Efficacy during PCIA with Sufentanil in Patients Follwing Hip Replacement

Abstract

Objective To observe the preemptive analgesic effect of flurbiprofen axetil on postoperative pain relief.Methods Forty patients following hip replacement under general anesthesia were divided into two groups with 20 cases per each randomly.the patients in groupA received intravenous injection with flurbiprofen axetil 1mg/kg 15 min before surgery,and those in group B intravenous injection with equal volume of saline.Postoperative analgesia efficacy was assessed by visual analoge scales(VAS) at 1h,2h,4h,8h,16h and 24h after surgery.Sufentanil requirements and adverse effects were recorded at 24h after surgery.Results There was no significantly difference in the VAS score between group A and B P0.05.Nausea and vomiting in group A were significantly less that that in group B P0.05.Requirements of sufentanil were significantly less in group A than those in group B P0.05.Conclusion Flubiprofen axetil could produce preemptive effect,save the requirements of sufentanil and reduce the adverse effect.
