The theme of life and philosophical reflections of Tao Yuanming's poetry

Abstract
In his poetry Tao Yuanming has expressed his great expectations and his confrontations with life-and-death choices. It is in the agony of his extreme pessimism that the poet has been influenced by the Confucian ethic value and the Taoist natural value. Therefore, the poet's philosophical value of life has provided with good lessons for the late generations.
