On the Issue of Increasing Farmers' Income

At present, the rather slow pace of farmers' income increase has become a major impediment in the social progress and national economy development. The causes include: the change of demand and supply, a tremendous rise of rural surplus labor force added with a difficult transfer of this force, unreasonable policies, and low quality on the part of the farmers. Therefore, in order to increase farmers' income, government at all levels should adjust the structure, facilitate the transfer of rural surplus labor, support and protect agriculture, and increase investment in rural education.
