Abstract

AIM: To express mature peptide gene of hOP-1 in E . Coli. METHODS: The cDNA fragment of hOP-1 mature peptide was subcloned into plasmid vector pEH4 . The recombinant plasmid was transformed into DH5a, and gene was expressed by means of heat-induction. Protein expression was assaied by SDS-PAGE. RESULTS: SDS-PAGE showed protein expression band near 14×10 3 made up higher than 33% of total cell proteins. CONCLUSION: The pEH4/OP-1 expresses OP-1 in E .Coli. successfully
