Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine combined with triple therapy on Helicobacter Pylori associated peptic ulcer. Methods: 62 cases of peptic ulcer were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table. 31 cases were in each group. The control group was received rabeprazole, clarithromycin and amoxicillin capsules. The observation group was received traditional Chinese medicine on the basis of the therapy in the control group. Results: The total efficiency was 70. 9% in the control group. In observation group the total efficiency was 93. 5%. There was a significant difference in two groups(χ2= 5. 41,P 0. 05). During follow-up of six months, the recurrence rate in control group was 36%(8 /22). The recurrence rate was 6. 9% in the observation group(2 /29),The results had significant differences after treatment( χ2= 4. 54,P 0. 01). Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine combined with triple therapy has a better clinical efficacy and lower recurrence rate.
