Abstract

Objective:To survey the prevalence of patients with coronary artery disease(CAD)complicated depression in advanced aged(80 of age) man.Methods:The 80 advanced aged patients with coronary artery disease and depression were identified based on Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and senior depression scale.Results:There were 42 cases with moderate depression(52%),12 cases with severe depression(15%) and 26 cases without depression(33%) based on HAMD.There were 29 cases with moderate depression(36%),20 cases with severe depression(25%) and 31 cases without depression(39%) based on senior depression scale.It indicated there were 61%~67% CAD patients complicated depression in advanced aged man.Conclusion:The most CAD patients complicate depression in advanced aged man,must pay attention and actively treat.
