Purpose-Made Equipment for Construction of Suspension Bridge of Runyang Bridge

The purpose-made equipment for erection and installation of the superstructure of a suspension bridge is critical to the smooth completion of the overall superstructure. With reference to the experiences of selection and application of the equipment for superstructure construction of several suspension bridges, and in accordance with the technical features of Runyang Changjiang River Highway Bridge, the purpoxe-made complete plant and equipment appropriate to the long-span suspension bridge construction are developed and imported. In this paper, the selection and design of the principal equipment for the Suspension Bridge of Runyang Bridge are briefed.
