Abstract

Objective To investigate the drug sensitivity of pseudomonas aeruginosa to 18 antibiotics in lower respiratory tract infection in the respiration department. Methods The sputum samples from the inpatients with lower respiratory tract infection in the respiratory department nearly 4 years were collected, isolated and cultured, and the identification and susceptibility testing were carried out by using an automatic microbiological analyzer. Results 1397 pathogens were isolated from 3426 sputum samples, from which 165 strains of pseudomonas aeruginosa were identified, accounting for 11.8.Antibiotics whose sensitivity rate was over 60% to pseudomonas aeruginosa included polymyxin E(95.8%),cefoperazone/sulbactam(86.1%),meropenem(72.1%),imine training South(71.5%),cefepime(67.3%),piperacillin/tazobactam(66.1%),ceftazidime(64.8%),amikacin(63.6%),ticarcillin/clavulanic acid(61.8%),netilmicin(60.0%).Conclusion In patients with lower respiratory tract infection in the respiratory department, detection rate of P.aeruginosa is high, and the phenomenon of drug resistance is common, and therefore, rational use of antimicrobial drugs should be based on antimicrobial susceptibility test results.
