Central retinal vein occlusion treatment of secondary glaucoma

Objective To Investigate the effect of Ultra-wide retinal photocoagulation with argon laser for neovascular glaucoma induced by central retinal vein occlusion.Methods We have treatded some patients in our hospital includ in-patient and out-patient for central retinal vein occlusion with secondary glaucoma from January 2005 to September 2009 ,1300~1600 points per eye,minutes 2~3 times to complete and follow-up effect ,Observation of intraocular pressure and neovascular subside.Results Collection of central retinal vein occlusion diagnosed with secondary glaucoma in ultra-wide retinal photocoagulation in patients with a total of 21 cases,Follow-up 2 months to 2 years,intraocular pressure under control in 17 cases,two cases of vitreous hemorrhage occurred,vitrectomy combined with Panretinal photocoagulation,A routine trabeculectomy ,another routine cyclophotocoagulation,Postoperative intraocular pressure were all under control.Conclusion Ultra-wide argon laser photocoagulation treatment of central retinal vein occlusion secondary glaucoma is safe and effective,and the scope of photocoagulation and laser photocoagulation is essential as soon as possible.
