Abstract
In the NH3-NH4Cl buffer solution pH10,a sensitive reduction peak of copper-sodium cefazolinic complex was obtained by using single-sweep polarography. The peak potention of the polarographic wave is - 0.30V( vs . SCE) .The peak current is proportional to the concentration of Copper( II ) in the range of 0.005 -0.3 mg/L, and the detection limit is 0.0025 mg/L. The method has been used successfully in the determination of copper in human hair and nickel sulfate. The polarographic current property has been studied to confirm that the polarographic wave has an adsorptive character.
