Abstract
In this paper,new explicit and exact Jacobian elliptic solutions of the nonlinear Schrdinger equation are obtained by using the extended mapping method.As a result,the exact solutions include new solitary wave solutions,triangular and hyperbolic functions solutions,and the exact solutions in the limiting cases have also been studied.The result reveals that the method is straightforward and effective.
