Abstract
A Slurry Concentrating Process(SCP) for ammonium phosphate production was tested withsome kinds of typical phosphate rock, such as Kaiyang, Liuyang rock. The factors, which effect thephysicochendcal properties of phosphoric acid and ammonium phosphate, were intensively investigated onthe base of simulative tests on commercial process. The related physicochemical data, process parametersand product quality were measured. With the results of this reseaech, the quality of a phosphate rock wasevaluated. The obtained data were not only applicable to the design of SCP ammonium phosphate production, but also useful in the improvement and operation of the commercial process.
