Abstract

The control water level of Chenglingji is not only for design of dikes but also for regulation of flood storage project for a long time,which has always been a heated debate focus in flood control of middle Yangtze River.From the aspect of analyzing characteristics of flood control of Yangtze River under current the River-lake relation,based on vested layout of flood control system of middle Yangtze River,combining the effort of regulation of Three Gorges Reservoir,the separation of water level for design of dike and regulation of flood storage project is put forward according to simulation results and practical water regime.The historical highest water level 35.80 m is adopted to be the present flood control water level of Lianhuatang,and the water level for regulation of flood storage project should be 34.4 m to 35.80 m.
