Abstract
According to the actuallity of parametric design,a concept of Product Generalized Parametric Design(PGPD) is put forward to manage the total design lifecycle.The information model is built to define the mapping and constraints between parameters.Using the key parameter to encapsulate the geometric and nongeometric information of product to realize the parametric design.
