Difficulties and Government Countermeasures of Development of Low-carbon Economy in China

Low carbon economy is an ecological economic model which is with low energy consumption,low pollution and low emission as its foundation.We face many difficulties in the course of low carbon economy development.For example,it is difficult to change the coal-based energy structure;the policies and regulations which promote the development of low carbon economic need to be perfect;the low carbon technology development is insufficient;the use of energy is inefficient,and so on.Therefore,in order to promote the development of carbon economy,it is necessary for our government to strengthen public education and guidance,strengthen government policy support,perfect the legal system,push forward low carbon technology RD,vigorously develop renewable energy sources and establish the market service system of low carbon market.
