Abstract

Objective To explore the relationship between C-Reactive protein tumor necrosis factor-alpha and insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes with hypertension. Methods C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-alpha,and insulin resistance levels in the 60 patients with type 2 diabetes with hypertension and 50 normal controls were detected. Results The type 2 diabetes with hypertension group C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-alpha,HOMA-IR,the normal control group C-Reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-alpha,HOMA-IR,the type 2 diabetes group showed significant diference than the normal control group(P0.001).Conclusion The C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-alpha are positively correlated with insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes patients with hypertension.
