The clinical significance and the expression of CD28 on the peripheral blood lymphocytes in the patients with hepatitis B

Abstract
Objective: To study the expression of CD28 on the peripheral blood lymphocytes in the patients with hepatitis B.To probe the immunological in the patients with hepatitis B.Methods:CD28 expression on the peripheral blood lymphocytes was detected by Flow Cytometry(FCM) in the patients with hepatitis B and the controls.Results: CD8+CD28+ T lymphocytes in patients with acute hepatitis B are significantly higher than those in patients with chronic hepatitis B and the controls. The CD4+CD28+ T lymphocytes and CD8+CD28+ T lymphocytes in patients with chronic hepatitis B is significantly lower than those in the controls,but CD8+CD28-T lymphocytes is significantly higher than those in the controls.The ratio between CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes in the patients with hepatitis B is significantly lower than the controls.Conclusions: The immune function of the patients with hepatitis B is abnormal.CD28 expression on the peripheral blood lymphocytes plays an important role in patients with hepatitis B and it could be an important index to evaluate the state of the patients with hepatitis B.
