Abstract
This paper holds that researches into Chinese Historiography should do well in the two aspects: the study of our own Historiography and the study of others’ researches into our Historiography. It points out that we should know better the Historiography of ourselves and of the world by studying the developments of oversea scholars towards our Historiography. We should adhere to the characteristics of Chinese National Histori- ography and integrate it into the international Historiography. The researches of oversea scholars provide us with both positive and negative experiences and they constitute a new question for discussion for Chinese Historiography theory and subject construction and development.
