Abstract

Virtual Design is very important content in CAD research field and it is widely applied in the design of mecianism.Now many CAD software can realize the virtual design of mechanism and simulation of mechanism movement.But its file is bulky and the ability of interaction is weak so it is difficult to transfer on web.VRML provide a brand-new thought or method to resolve the question.The feature of VRML is introduced in this paper and the method and principle of creating static and dynastic virtual model using VRML is investigated.On the basis,by the use of CAD software and virtual reality modeling language VRML,we set up a virtual interactive environment and static model of the engine with four cylinders.Combining with Vrmlscript,the movement simulation on the work process of the engine which can be interactive controlled in real time by the user and is oriented to web is realized.
