Abstract

Preparation conditions of the silkworm chitin chitosan deacetylation were studied.Through single-factor experiment,the affecting factors of sodium hydroxide concentration,time of treatment temperature,the proportion of chitin and sodium hydroxide solution on degree of deacetylation were studied,on the basis of optimized conditions for silkworm chitosan.The results revealed that the sodium hydroxide concentration was the most important factor on the degree of the silkworm chitin chitosan deacetylation,followed by the temperature of treatment,processing time and solid to liquid ratio had little effect.After optimizing,the treatment conditions were:NaOH concentration was 50%,treatment temperature was 90℃,time was 10h,solid-liquid ratio was 1∶15.After proven test,under this conditions,the degree of deacetylation of silkworm chrysalis chitosan was up to 74%.
