Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of ginkgo leaf extract and dipyridamole injection on acute cerebral infarction as well as the impacts on plasma endothelin and the level of calcitonin gene-related peptide. Methods 80 cases were divided randomly into two groups,40 cases in each one.The comprehensive therapy was applied in either group, such as reducing intracranial pressure,anti-platelet aggregation,anti-coagulation,controlling blood pressure and blood glucose, maintaining water and electrolyte balance and improving brain cell metabolism. In control group,on the basis of the conventional treatment, compound salvia miltiorrhizae injection was supplemented for intravenous drop infusion. In treatment group,on the basis of conventional treatment, ginkgo leaf extract and dipyridamole injection was added for intravenous drop infusion. For either group,15 d treatment made 1 session. The efficacy was assessed after 2 sessions of treatment. Results After treatment, the total effective rate was 75.0% in control group and was 95.0% in treatment group, indicating statistical significant difference in comparison(P0.05).The statistical significant differences presented in nerve function deficit score,ET and CGRP contents and hemorheological results after treatment in two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Ginkgo leaf extract and dipyridamole injection decreases ET level and increases CGRP level in plasma significantly.
