Effect of Qidanyishenjingtang pill on diabetic nephropathy

Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of Qidanyishenjingtang pill on diabetic nephropathy.Methods 210 patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN) were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in control group(n=100) were treated by routine therapy.Patients in treatment group(n=110) were treated by combination of Qidanyishenjingtang pill and routine therapy.The changes of FPG,2 hPG,HblAc,24 h urine protein,UAER,BUN,serum creatinine(Scr),TC,TG,LDL-C,and HDL-C were observed before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate in treatment group (82.73%) was higher than that in control group(77.00%,P0.05).There were significant difference between two groups on FPG,2 hPG,HbAlc,24 h urine protein,UAER,BUN,and Cr,after treatment(P0.05).There were significant difference between before and after treatment on TC,TG,HDL-L LDL-L in two groups(P0.05).Improvement of indexes in treatment group were superior to those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Qidanyishenjingtang pill can decrease FPG in patient with DN,relief albuminuria and improve lipid metabolism.
