Abstract
Fracture occurred in the sawing process of the P20 and 718injection mould steel plate is analyzed in this paper.According to the dissection and morphology analysis on the fracture position, the reasons for cracking are investigated.Titanium nitride inclusions in the central area of the steel plate can cause the generation of the micro-cracks,which is the main reason of the fracture during the sawing process. To solve the fracture problem, some effective measures are also proposed.
