Green Consumption and Its Legal Protection in China

Green consumption is a trend of the consumer movement under the background of globalization,it emphasizes the environmental protection in the consumption process,increases the recycling rate of products,reduces energy consumption and pollution,protects the health of consumers in a higher degree.At present,all the countries in the world take government green procurement as a national consumer guide and support the development of the green consumption movement.In China,we should establish the principle of government advocates and encouraging green consumption in the consumer rights protection law,and protect the green consumption rights of consumer furthermore.At the same time,we should carry out policies of government green procurement,green product tax relief and the green production and green consumption supports,which would promote green consumption and lay a necessary material foundation for our country economy's sustainable development.
