Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the treatment methods for post-apoplexy urinary incontinence.METHOD Sixty-eight patients were randomly divided into a treatment group of 36 patients treated with acupuncture and moxibustion and a control group of 32 patients treated with Jingui Shenqi Pill in order to observe the degree of improvement in both groups.RESULT After two courses of treatment,the total effective rates in the treatment and control groups were 88.89% and 37.50% respectively,with marked significance(P0.05).CONCLUSION Acupuncture and moxibustion is convenient,simple and effective for post-apoplexy urinary incontinence.
