Abstract
Based on the statistics of the fishery disasters,this paper summarizes the damage and the main disasters caused by fishery disasters in China,analyzes their types and causes.The research indicates that strong winds,huge storms and storm surges caused by typhoon are the major sudden natural disasters that affect our country's inshore fishery.In light of the absence in related research fields,current situation and task of costal fishery disaster prevention and mitigation in China,this paper further proposes the research direction and ideas of disaster alleviation that inshore fishery should follow.
