Ecological Civilization Construction and Low-carbon Agriculture Development

As the present human society and the economic development are affected by the rapid population growth, resource shortage, environmental protection and other factors, how to optimize the transformation of the traditional agriculture and how to greatly upgrade the agricultural economy are the important propositions related to the sustainable agricultural development. This paper explores the strategic ideas and approaches of promoting the low-carbon agricultural development by constructing the ecological civilization, describes the inherent rela- tions between the construction of ecological civilization and the promotion of scientific development and, based on the actual production situation, presents the suggestions and countermeasures on how to upgrade the transformation of the rural economy to the low-carbonization and to realize the new span of the modern low-carbon agriculture.
