Effects of Different Doses of Sildenafil on ED in Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of different low doses of Sildenafil on ED in type 2 diabetes.Methods The clinical data of 62 cases of type 2 diabetes with ED were retrospectively analyzed.They were randomly divided into two groups,one group received 50mg Sildenafil and the other received 25mg Sildenafil for 16 days.The treatment effect was assessed with IIEF-5 and the hardness rating criteria before and after treatment.Results All the patients took Sildenafil at different low doses for 16 days.Erectile function of both groups was obviously improved after treatment than that before treatment,with no significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion Low dose of Sildenafil may be effective to improve the erectile function of type 2 diabetes with ED.
