Abstract
Through the research in recent years, this paper put forth a fire new notion about Himalayan tectonic metallogenetic domain. Proceeding from Himalayan tectonic metallogenetic domain and its mineralization effect.Through studying the control effect of the tectonic metallogenetic domain on ore accumulation area, metallogenetic epoch, metallogenetic substance sources, plutonic processing and mineralization effect, we comprehensively evaluate the mineral resource potential of Qinghai Tibet Plateau and its adjecent area, and the important mineralization belts or ore accumulation area in which much more work needs to be done.We considered that the substance exchange between mantle and lower crust in Himalayan tectonic metallogenetic domain can produce one or several supper large deposits in a tectonic belt.Meanwhile ,the paper put forward some new practicable viewpoints for some important mineralization types, such as the Jama Cu Mo multimetal ore in Tibet and and the Yangla Cu Mo Au multimetal ore in Yunnan Province, which may belong to skarn pophyry type deposits. Most deposits formed in Himalayan tectonic metallogenetic domain in the Late Mesozoic and Cenozoic could be related to deep complicated dynamic process in Himalayan continental crust. The associations of mineral and metallogenic elements in those ore deposit are complex, characterized by high content of cobalt and silver in ore, which occurred as major mineralized elements in some deposits. Finally, the paper proposed the mineral resource potential of Qinghai Tibet Plateau and the important ore accumulation area in its eastern region.
