Abstract
Using nitric acid and perchloric acid(4∶1) to digest the samples, the contents of trace elements Zn and Fe in leaves and stems of water spinach were determined by the flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The results showed that, water spinach was rich in Zn,Fe,but the contents of the two elements had obvious difference in leaves and stems. The recovery rate of the two elements was 96.69%-103.72%,and the relative standard deviation(RSD) was less than 1.1%.The method possessed the advantages of fast determination, simple operation, high precision and accuracy.
