Abstract
Solid super acid such as TiO2/SO2-4,ZrO2/SO2-4 and AlCl3 loaded on macroporous sulfonic acid ionexchange resin were prepared.Effects of many factors,such as varieties of catalyst(including the solid acids prepared,H7·xH2O and H8·xH2O),amounts of catalyst,reaction time and mole ratio of reactants on esterification process were studied. Using TiO2/SO2-4 as catalyst,the optimum technological conditions were temperature 80 ℃,reaction time 12 h,n(palmitic acid)∶n(ethanol)=1∶9 and m(catalyst)∶m(palmitic acid)=008∶1.Under these conditions,yield of ethyl palmitate can reach 9619%.
