Abstract

The seawater quality of Sanya Yulin Bay has been analysed based on the monitoring results of the marine zone from 2002 to 2005.The analysis result indicates that seawater quality in most parts the of Yuling Bay zone is good,yet the Hongsha Port within Yulin Bay has been polluted by concentration of nutrients and organic matters,and its eutrophication conditions are de- teriorating.This paper advanced preventive measures against eutrophication and for the control of seawater quality deterioration.
