Abstract
The effects of some aquicultural disinfectors on the hydrolysis of pNP-NAG catalyzed by N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase(NAGase,EC 3.2.1.52)from crustaceous membrane and viscera of Litopenaeus vannamei were studied.Sodium hypochlorite(NaClO)and symclosene(TCCA)strongly and irreversibly inhibit the activity of these two different enzymes.Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride(DDAC)could sharply enhance the crustaceous NAGase activity and slightly inhibit the viscera NAGase activity.Glutaraldehyde had no obvious effect on the crustaceous NAGase activity, but lightly inhibited the viscera NAGase activity.
