Abstract
Objective To study the impact of different ways in giving the toxicant on the rat Methods Toxicant was given to rats by two ways and the impact on the body weight of rats was observed Results No abnormalities were observed in blood routine exmiantion,biochemical index of blood,histopathological results of main organs in the rats of every dose groups with different ways of giving toxicant But the body weight of rats in the experimental group from the first week to the fourth week was markedly lower than that of the controls (P0 05 or P0 01) No differences were noticed in the rats of experimental group in the first week,third week and fourth week as compared with that of the controls (P0 05) Conclusion The toxicant effect can only be determined by using correct ways of giving toxicant and getting rid of man made factors
