Abstract
Objective To study the anti tumor effect of combination of TRAIL and 5 Fu on colon cancer cell line SW480 Methods The survival fraction of SW480 cells was measured by MTT assay and apoptosis rate was determined by TUNEL method Results A cooperative effect of 30~300 ng/ml TRAIL and 3 0 mmol/L 5 Fu on survival fraction of SW480 cells was found TUNEL revealed that 3 0 mmol/L 5 Fu could enhance TRAIL induced apoptosis of colon cancer cell line SW480 Conclusion The sensitivity of colon cancer cell line SW480 to TRAIL mediated apoptosis is improved by 5 Fu
