Abstract
Objective To construct Lectin domain eukaryotic expression vector of human P selectin's extra cellular functioning region. Methods Total RNA was extracted from human platelets, P selectin cDNA was isolated by RT PCR, Lectin domain gene was amplified with PCR and cloned into mammalian expression vector pcDNA4/HisMaxA. The expression plasmid pcDNA4/HisMaxA P selectin's Lectin controlled by P CMV was constructed. Results The nucleotide sequence of isolated P selectin's Lectin domain was the same as expected. Conclusion The successful construction of the recombinant plasmid will be benefit to further study in this field.
