Abstract
SAN (Storage Area Network) is being widely used as enterprise data storage for its advantage. Currently, the main product of SAN includes FC SAN and IP SAN. Building the FC SAN is a very high cost project and there are also interoperability problems. IP is not very suit for transferring storage I/O data. To overcome the shortcoming, a VIA-SAN is designed by using VIA protocol replace the IP protocol. The experiment and analysis indicate that the VIA is more excellent than IP in data transfer.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
