Abstract
Objective:To explore the relationship between unstable angina and the levels of plasma homocystcinc(Hcy) and high sensitive C-reactive Protein(hs-CRP).Methods: observing and comparing 3 groups of patients who are cared in the hospital at the same time.DM Group-40 patients with unstable angina and type 2 diabetes mellitus and Non-DM group-40 unstable angina patients without diabetes mellitus are studied and compared with the third group-40 patients with stable angina. All the subjects have been systematically treated and monitored for six months afterwards. The levels of Hcy and hs-CRP of the subjects have been measured and the ratio of angina re-occurring,acute myocardial(AMI) and cardiogenic death have been counted.Comparing Hcy and hs-CRP levels of patients in different groups and the analyzing their relationship with the patients recovering.Result: Hcy and hs-CRP levels of patients in DM group and Non-DM group are higher than that of patients in the third group(P0.01);Hcy and hs-CRP levels of patients in DM group are higher than that of patients in Non-DM group(P0.05);there is a positive correlation between the level of Hcy and the level of hs-CRP of patients' in DM group and Non-DM group. In the after-treatment visits, the ratio of patients in DM group and Non-DM group having angina re-occurring,acute myocardial(AMI) and cardiogenic death is higher than that of patients in the third group. Conclusion: the levels of Hcy and hs-CRP are key indicators in evaluating unstable angina patients' after-treatment conditions and have a positive correlation with patients' disease.
