Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and pricking-cupping blood letting therapy in treating cervical spondylosis of qi stagnation and blood stasis pattern. Methods Eighty cases were divided into treatment group and control group by randomized single blind controlled trail method. After qi arrival, kept the needle for 20min,then withdrew the needles, and treated by cupping on Ashi points for 3~5min.Patients in treatment group were treated by pricking-cupping bloodletting method. The TCM quantization tables,McGill questionnaire, evaluation form of cervical spondylosis function were evaluated, and the safety and adverse events were recorded. Results The total effective rate was 95.0%in the treatment group and 92.5%in the control group, with a difference between the two groups(P0.05).There was significant difference in TCM syndrome between the two groups(P0.05);the reduction of PRI,VAS and PPI in treatment group were much more than that of the controls(P0.05);the improvement of cervical spondylosis function in treatment group was higher than that of the controls(P0.001).Conclusion Combined acupuncture and pricking-cupping bloodletting therapy has better effects than combined acupuncture and cupping therapy, especially in pain alleviating aspect.
