Taking Huangchenggen Relics Park and Changpu River Park as examples and with the historical background, the historical and cultural elements in the major sights and surroundings are extracted and analyzed. New characteristics of the environment arrangement and green space construction in the old city rejuvenation of Beijing are summed up, and the positive function and significance of city garden construction to historical and culture relics protection are discussed.
