Clinical study on treatment of stomachache with type of spleen-stomach deficiency-cold by Huanzhong decoction

Abstract
Objective To observe clinical curative effect of Huanzhong decoction for treatment of stomachache with type of spleen-stomach deficiency-cold.Methods To randomly divide 220 patients with stomachache with type of spleen-stomach deficiency-cold into two groups,120 cases in treatment group,which were treated by orally taking Huanzhong decoction;100 cases in control group,which were treated by orally taking Lizhu Dele.The therapeutic course was 4 weeks in two groups.After a course of treatment,the changes symptoms and diagnose by gastroscope were compared before and after treatment.Recurrence condition was observed by following up for 12 weeks.Results The total effective rate and cure rate in the treatment group(93.33%,70.00%) were higher than those in control group(77%,45.00%,P0.01,P0.05).There was significant difference between two groups on improvement rat of gastroscope diagnose(P0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of Huanzhong Soup for treatment of stomachache with type of spleen-stomach deficiency-cold is obvious and durable.
