Geological features and types of the Heicigou gold deposit, Gansu

The Heicigou gold deposit is a new discovered mature deposit in the Danghenanshan area.The geological setting,geological features and geochemical study of elements show that the deposit belongs to a new type deposit in the research area or in whole Qilianshan area.It's controlled by strata-structure-magmatite. The geological features imply that the deposit has obvious stratabound characters, the ore bodies are mostly controlled by faults in gravel beds.The ore-forming materials mainly come from the deep sources, and the mineralization is obviously limited by the magmatic event.Comparing the geological features and material sources, it is found that the Heicigou deposit is not as same as the traditional stratabound deposit,it can be classified as the type of stratabound-like gold deposit.
