Abstract
Based on the evaluation on different layers of several natural forests, including canopy, litters and soil layer, the soil and water conservation capacity was comprehensively evaluated by the method of comprehensively coordinate. Results showed that the sequence of different forests from high to low is that evergreen broadleaf shrub forest, mixed forest of conifer and broadleaf, evergreen broadleaf forest, and Phyllostachys pubescence forest. The evaluation value(0.065 3) of evergreen broadleaf shrub forest is much smaller than other forests, which shows that its capacity of soil and water conservation is much stronger than other forests. Results also showed that the shrub forest which has more plants and more litter has the strongest capacity of conserving soil and water. The capacity of soil and water conservation of mixed forest of conifer and broadleaf is better than forest with single broadleaf trees, and Phyllostachys pubescence forest is the worst.
