Abstract
The valuable minerals in a copper-sulfide ore from Nei Mongol are chalcopyrite, magnetic pyrite and pyrite. In the past, only chalcopyrite was recovered,S-Fe minerals weren′t recovered as their grade is lower. An experiment of ″the preferential flotation of copper under low alkali conditions and the clean activation flotation of sulfur from the tailing of copper flotation was carried out,and high efficiency collector QP-03 of copper minerals and clean activator QH-01 of S-Fe minerals were used to increase the recovery of copper and achieve the comprehensive utilization of sulfur. As a result, the experiment obtained a copper concentrate having a copper content of 20.60% and a copper recovery of 93.44%,a sulfur concentrate having a sulfur content of 32.20% and a sulfur recovery of 86.04%.Compared with the old process, the sulfur was comprehensively recovered, the copper content was increased by 0.5% and the copper recovery was increased by 2.47%.
