Source Analysis and Comprehensive Treatment of Water Pollution in Huaxi Watershed,Chongqing

With the development of social economy,the problem of environmental pollution,particularly that of water pollution,is especially evident.In this paper,the source of water pollution in Huaxi Watershed,Chongqing is analyzed based on survey and literature.The results show that domestic wastewater ranks first followed by the industrial point pollution,while agricultural non-point source and other sources have small percentages.In consideration of the watershed's characteristics,a series of countermeasures for comprehensive treatment are put forward to reduce the pollution,such as strengthened supervision,appropriate planning,creation of artificial wetland,and adoption of canna floating bed technology.This paper provides some ideas for environmental protection of branch rivers.
