Abstract
The dispersions of SiC uitrafine particles in water and in polyethleneglycol are investigated by sedimentation test. The effects of dispersant and the pH value of the Solutions are studied. The results show that the dispersion behaviors for SiC particles in different media differ obuiouly, and the amount of dispersant and pH value have notable effect on the dispersion behaviors. The dispersion performance and action of some dispersant are different in the same media and the dispersants have the selectivity to different media.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
