Abstract
The dispersion behavior of nano-ATO in aqueous system is studied in this paper firstly.Influences of pH value, type and content of dispersants, different dispersion methods and processing parameters on the dispersion stability are discussed. The results indicate that the isoelectric point lies at the place that pH= 2.The dispersion stability is enhanced remarkably in neutral system. The optimum dispersant is KH-560/DP-518 and the optimum content in dispersion system is 5%of the weight of the system.Small particle sizes and narrower particle size distribution can be obtained when the system is dispersed by high-speed dispersion combined with ultrasonic dispersion.Diameters of most nano-ATO particles in the slurry are 80~150nm dispersed by the optimum dispersant and the dispersion process.
