Abstract
Objective:To study the optimum extraction and atioxidative activity of polysaccharides from the disc of sunflower.Method:The extraction of the polysaccharides were prepared by L9(34)orthogonal test plan. And antioxidative activity of the extract was evaluated by two systems, hydroxylradical system and pyrogallol autooxidation methods.Result:It was found that the optimum extraction conditions were as follows:extraction temperature 95℃,material-water ratio 1∶20,and extraction time 4h,the rate of extraction was 9.73%,and temperature was an important factor for the extraction rate of the polysaccharides. Conclusion:The polysaccharides from the disc of sunflower were found have strong antioxidant activity.
